Next Year…I’ll Be Better
Next year you’re going to be better looking.
You’re going to lose weight.
You’re going to make more money.
You’re going to have better sex… and LOTS of it!
You’re going to have better relationships.
You’re going to have more friends, and everyone around you is going to be “better.”
After all, it is the end of the year, and it’s a common time to step back and look at all the things you did over the past year, but commit to yourself that you’re going to be better next year.
People will sell you on the idea of “you’re going to be better” and
they’re going to show you exactly how you can be better with their
system of becoming better, because after all…
THEY’RE BETTER THAN YOU!
They have it figured out more than you, they have better lives than you.
They have better families, they have better wives…
They have better husbands, and they probably make more money teaching
other people how to become better.
Next year I’m going to have more time with my children. Next year I’m going to have a better relationship with my kids. Next year those kids are going to be better at sports. They’re going to be smarter in school. They’re going to attend school more often. We’re not going to be late as much.
Next year I’ll be a better dad.
I’ll probably be a better husband, because my wife is going to be better…
So she’ll understand me more, because after all, I’M BETTER THAN HER!
Once I become better at all these things,
I think I’m going to step back and look after next year and just commit to be better,
because after all, someday I will be there and will get there and will know when I’m there.
And EVERYBODY, gosh darn it, will know that I’M BETTER THAN THEM!
I think at that point, I can step back and tell everybody I’m happy.
I’m rich, I’m sexier than they are, I have more sex than them,
I have a better marriage than them,
I have better kids than them…
I have better business than them, and I think by then, they will know that, gosh darn it, I’m better than them.
After all, isn’t that the whole goal next year, to become better than everyone else?
